Shaping Tomorrow: Meet Our Summer Interns

This summer, Minor Chores is thrilled to welcome four exceptional interns who are bright students and budding entrepreneurs in their own right. Each brings a unique blend of skills, enthusiasm, and visionary outlook to our team. From the sunny coasts of California to the east coast of Florida and in between, these young talents—Avery, Kenzie, Oscar, and Max—are set to infuse fresh ideas and perspectives into our mission of empowering young entrepreneurs.

As a third-year business student at Texas Christian University, Avery Pinard is pursuing a degree in marketing and management and is interested in learning how to create and deliver while inspiring future generations to get involved in business and entrepreneurship from an early age to customers and stakeholders. Avery is from San Diego, California, where she has gained valuable work experience in many customer service and sales roles. I am excited to continue expanding my network and journey as a Marketing and Sales Analyst at Minor Chores.

Kenzie Sloan is a rising junior at TCU, pursuing a communication major with a business minor. Originally from California, Kenzie recently moved to Jupiter, Florida, ready to dive into new experiences. With a background in marketing, she is eager to further explore communication strategies and contribute to expanding products and companies. Excited for the journey ahead being a communication analyst at Minor Chores and can’t wait to see the company grow!

Oscar Naranjo, a computer engineering student at Florida State University, is passionate about coding and tech. He loves helping students succeed and has tutored high school and college students for many years, teaching them study tips and boosting their confidence. With a passion for entrepreneurship and empowering young minds, Oscar is particularly drawn to Minor Chores, the pioneering marketplace fostering profitable neighborhood businesses while providing educational resources.

Max Klonke is a data science undergraduate at the University of Michigan with a keen interest in entrepreneurship. Growing up, he embraced the role of a Chore-preneur, always finding ways to make cash within his community. As a summer intern at Minor Chores, he aims to learn from and contribute to a startup environment while expanding opportunities for young entrepreneurs to thrive and profit in their neighborhoods.

As we kick off this summer's internship program, we're incredibly excited and grateful to have Avery, Kenzie, Oscar, and Max join the Minor Chores team. Each of you brings unique skills and fresh perspectives that are invaluable to our mission. Thank you in advance for your dedication and the impact you're about to make. We can't wait to see all that we will accomplish together!
